Message First of all, no cracks about the dirty Z, or the shitty looking under-spoiler decal... I have the replacement, just haven't got it put on yet... As for the dirty Z, she'll be washed today or tomorrow.

Well, I decided to spend a couple hours yesterday making me some J-Spec replicas. It's not too hard, the hardest part is getting the housings apart(tar sucks) Once you get past that, it's not too bad, just gotta take your time.

After putting them back on the car, there were some small scratchs on the light, and some tar residue. I decided to sand them with 2000 Wet/Dry. I had heard this worked well. IT DIDN'T. Made the light sMOOOOOTH, but VERY hazy, with fine scratches. See Pics

I found some 3M Perfect-It 2 Rubbing Compound, and used that. IT WORKS WONDERS!!! I reccomend ANYONE getting this stuff and going at all your lights, and paint too if you need it. Works awesome, just look!!

Here's what all the lights looked like. Notice the shitty reflection.

Here's what the Right tail light looks like now, after I rubbed the HELL out of it, for about 15 minutes. Note the reflection NOW, as compared to the first pic.

Here's the diffrence between the center panel(done) and the left tail-light(not done)

Here's a couple shot of the finished product. I was battling with time on rain yesterday, so I didnt put the stripes on the brake light, so I will save that for another day. All in all, I think they look great. The lines were done by measuring and getting marks on the backside of the lens, then carefully placing black pinstriping on the clear lens itself. Took a while to get it str8...

ANyway, I spent about 12.00 in all.

Clear Lens(1X3 sheet) 1.50 ( I work at Home Depot, got it 75%off)
Pinstriping 3.99
2000 Grit Sandpaper<---Mistake 2.99
3M Perfect-It 6.99

Let me know what you guys think.
